Belli founder Jeff presented the company's approach to airline cargo software in a Tech in Asia startup pitch. He described cargo teams working across legacy systems, paper records and spreadsheets, with limited connections to warehouse, logistics, trucking and revenue-management tools.
Jeff connected rising cargo demand to cross-border ecommerce. He argued that airlines need better connections between their operating systems to make more use of the space beneath passenger cabins.
The product he outlined had three parts: a desktop application for end-to-end visibility into airline cargo operations, a mobile app for ground teams intended to replace paper-based workflows, and an API platform to connect the systems around cargo handling. Together, these tools were presented as a way to bring information and tasks across the operation into one connected workflow.
Jeff also shared the aviation and logistics experience behind Belli. He described his previous work at AirAsia Cargo and the flight systems his team built for SpaceX, then explained how conversations with airlines were shaping the company's early product direction.
